Xuan Thuy National Park is 150 km away from Hanoi to the southeast, is the biosphere conservation of mangrove forests. This is the first mangroves in Vietnam are internationally recognized Ramsar, 50th mangrove forests of the world.
Xuan Thuy National Park was upgraded from Wetland Reserve Xuan Thuy under Decision number 01/2003 of the Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam January 2, 2003.
Xuan Thuy National Park is located in the southeast of Giao Thuy District, Nam Dinh Province, right at the mouth of the Red River Ba Lat.
